Hector Guadalupe Bustos Sr.

It is with heavy hearts and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Hector Guadalupe Bustos Sr. a cherished spouse, devoted son, beloved father, adoring grandfather, and cherished brother. Hector peacefully departed from this earthly life on September 17, 2023, at the age of 66, leaving behind a void that can never be filled.
Hector was born on November 22, 1956, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, to his proud parents, Jose de Jesus Bustos and Maria Concepcion Bustos. He was the third child among twelve beloved siblings. From an early age, Hector displayed a remarkable talent and skill as a marble and granite cutter, which led him to establish his own successful business, Letty's Remodeling Company.
Hector's legacy will forever be intertwined with his passion for cooking and his innate ability to bring people together around the dinner table. His perfectly grilled ribeye steaks, mouthwatering fajitas, and traditional cabrito were legendary in the family. He delighted in creating memorable moments and was happiest when surrounded by his loved ones, particularly his precious grandchildren. Whether it was embarking on a road trip or enjoying Sunday morning breakfast at La Madaline, Hector cherished every moment spent together and brought joy to those around him.
Left to honor his memory and mourn his loss is his devoted wife, Leticia, who stood faithfully by his side throughout their journey of 44 years; his beloved father, Jose de Jesus Bustos; son, Hector Jr and and spouse Jessica, daughter, Priscila and spouse Greg, daughter, Sara Bustos, son Aayden; grand-daughter Evelyn, grand-daughter Camila, grandson Jasiah and grandson Mateo. His brothers and sisters Juan Manuel (deceased), Ricardo and his spouse Nora; siblings, Jesus and his spouse Luisa, Joe and his spouse Debora, Carlos (deceased), Nancy and her spouse Domingo, Patricia and her spouse Rodolfo, Benjamin and his spouse Hornencia, Marcial and his spouse Carmen, Claudia and spouse Justo, Robert and spouse Sandra.
To pay tribute to this remarkable man and bid him farewell, a public viewing will be held on September 23, 2023, at Guerrero Dean Funeral Home located at 500 E Main Street, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050. The family will have a private viewing prior to the public gathering. The family viewing will commence at 4:00 pm, and all those wishing to honor Hector are invited to attend the public viewing starting at 5:00 pm.
In accordance with Hector's wishes, his earthly remains will be cremated following the funeral services. Although his physical presence may be gone, Hector's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of his loved ones, serving as a guiding light and a source of inspiration.
During this time of mourning, let us stand united in support of Hector's family, offering our condolences, prayers, and strength. May the memories of his life bring comfort and solace to all who had the privilege of knowing this remarkable man.
