Paz Rodriguez Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home - Grand Prairie on Feb. 4, 2026.
Paz C. Rodriguez, 82, passed away peacefully in Arlington, Texas surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 23, 1943, in San Saba, Texas, where she was also raised.

Paz was one of nine children and carried with her throughout her life the strong family values she learned growing up.

She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was married to the love of her life, Narciso Rodriguez, for 63 blessed years. Together they built a home filled with faith, laughter, and unconditional love. Paz found her greatest joy in caring for her family, especially her grandchildren, who were truly everything to her.

She had a deep love for cooking and was happiest when feeding those she loved. Paz had a true green thumb and spent countless hours working in her yard alongside her husband, tending to her plants with patience and pride. She was known for her warm smile, gentle spirit, and kind heart.

Paz enjoyed Western movies, loved dancing to Tejano music, and oldies, and she was a devoted fan of WWE wrestling-so much so that she wouldn't answer the phone if a match was on. Family gatherings brought her immense happiness, and she cherished every moment spent surrounded by her loved ones.

A faithful and devoted Catholic, Paz lived her life rooted in prayer. She was rarely without her rosary, turning to it often for comfort, strength, and guidance. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life and an example to all who knew her.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Narciso Rodriguez; her children, Sarah Rojas, Mary Rodriguez, Mauricio Rodriguez, and Veronica Rodriguez; grandchildren, David Rojas, Jessica Rojas, Mateo Alva, Ashley Fraire, Cassandra Moore, Heather Rodriguez, David Rosales, Mariah Rosales, and Marcus Rosales; great-grandchildren, Jadyne, Jaylah, Jaylen, Jazmyn, Ava, Emery, Joshua, Rena, Amelia, Oliver, Camila, Gilbert, Josiah, Angel, Emma, Eli, and Lennox; siblings, Rachel Torres, Felix Ramirez, Johnny Ramirez, and Linda Castilla.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E. Main Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050, with the Holy Rosary recited at 6:00 pm.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 13, 2026, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2910 Corn Valley Road, Grand Prairie, Texas 75052.

Paz will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her devotion to family, her loving heart, and the gentle way she touched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Crescencio Ramirez and Juanita Casarez; four siblings; and her beloved great-grandson, Edward.
