With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our precious son, Hector Cervantes III, who was stillborn into the arms of God on Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Peterson Regional Medical Center in Kerrville, Texas. Born at 28 weeks he weighed 2 lbs 4 oz and was 14 inches long. Though his time with us was brief, the impact of his existence has left a permanent mark on our hearts.

Hector is survived by his loving parents Valeria Ramirez and Hector Cervantes Jr., who eagerly awaited his arrival and will forever hold him in their hearts. He is also survived by his paternal grandparents Laura Centeno, and Hector Cervantes Sr. as well as his maternal grandparents Maria Ines Ramirez, and Jose Rene Ramirez. Hector Cervantes III is also remembered by family members including aunts and uncles, cousins, great grandparents, and numerous more relatives and friends.

A service to honor baby Hector's precious life will be held on Friday June 27th, 2025, at Grimes Funeral Chapels at 10am for friends and family to offer comfort, sympathy, and honor his life. Interment services will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery once services conclude.

Valeria and Hector would love to personally thank family, friends, and everyone else for their love, compassion, and support during this difficult time. We will forever be grateful.

Though baby Hector's time with us was way too short, his memory will be cherished forever. His tiny but big footprints have left an enormous imprint on our hearts and his spirit will always illuminate our lives. We will carry his love with us always, finding comfort in knowing he is resting in heaven watching over us. May baby Hector rest in eternal peace knowing he was extremely loved and will never be forgotten. We love you, always sweet baby boy!
