Hector Colon Obituary
WATERBURY– It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Hector M. Colon Torres on Wednesday, April 24th, 2024, at Saint Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury.
Hector was born on October 4th, 1938, in Ponce, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Domingo Colon and Josephine Torres. Growing up Hector learned everything from his grandfather, especially taking care of their farmland in Puerto Rico. Hector was a dedicated farmer in Puerto Rico, he was known for always caring for the cattle his family had.
Left to cherish Hector’s memories are his wife Maria L. Rodriguez, his children Hector M. Colon Jr, Wilfredo Colon, Heriberto Colon, Romana A. Colon, and Wanda Colon, his siblings: Alberto Colon, Raymond Colon, Domingo Colon Jr, Obdulia Colin, Juano Colon, Luz Antonia and Santia Colon.
Burial will be held privately at the convenience of his family. Loving- kindness is always welcome, and it only takes a moment to offer a message of condolence or words of comfort or share a memory of someone important to you with family and friends.
