Hector Requena Obituary
Hector Requena, 67, of Gilmer passed away on January 16, 2025. He was born in Como, TX on September 1, 1957 to Victor Requena and Sophie Requena.
Hector was mostly in construction related fields for most of his life. He enjoyed working on cars, especially his classic Jimmy, as well as fixing up his house and was proud of the new warming stove he had just completed. Hector loved NASCAR and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. His favorite band was AC/DC.
Those left to cherish his memory include his long-time partner, Carla Peppers; his children, Chris and his wife, Jennifer Requena, Victor "Nate" Requena, Austin Requena, Gayle McGuyer and Carla McGuyer; grandchildren, Lucian Requena and Setiva Parks; many great-grandchildren; as well as many other extended family members.
