Hector Vela

Hector Vela, 72, of Fulshear, Texas passed away on February 23, 2024 in Sugar Land, Texas. He was born on December 1, 1951 in Cotulla, Texas to the late Arnulfo Vela Jr. and Alamar Campos Vela. After retiring as a Shop Supervisor, Hector turned his passion for Tractors into his own small business. This loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend will be missed.
Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Lydia Rivera Vela; daughters, Rachel Vela Naae and husband, Jared, and Erica Marie Vela Garza and husband, Christopher; granddaughter, Makayla Marie Garza; brother, Ernesto Vela and wife, Maruja; sisters, Eva Vela Lozano and husband, Gilbert, and Irma Vela Martinez and husband, Jesse; along with extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 29, 2024 in the Chapel of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Burial to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg.
