Hector Saul "Heckman" Verdugo, age 63, of Morristown, went peacefully to be with the Lord Jesus on Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at his home. He had a calm smile on his face; he was at peace. Hector was born in Obregon, Sonora, Mexico on August 08, 1961. He moved to California in 1967 and later moved to Tennessee in the 1990's making Morristown his forever home. Hector was a truck driver for many years, working with different companies. He loved all sports and outside activities. He was well liked and loved by many. He always had a loving heart and kindness. He was Catholic by faith, at St. Elizabeth Church in California in 1970.

He was preceded in death by father, Juan De Dios Verdugo; mother, Rafaela Ibarra Cardenas de Verdugo.

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Debby Linkous Williams Verdugo; his children, Hector Saul Verdugo, and Nicky Moledo; his adopted children, Layton Baker, and Kaidance (Baker) James; his siblings who all live in California, Carmen Medina, Rose Martinez, Lydia Wood, Juan (Johnny) Verdugo, Ed Verdugo, and Ralph Verdugo; grandchildren, Kiley Moledo, Jordan Verdugo, Taylor Moledo, and Declan Dewhurst; in-laws, Marie Seay, and Melissa Sanders; special buddy, Zoey Green.

Hector will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Our hearts forever missing the piece of the family puzzle. His smile and laughter will always be heard in our hearts. Forever missed and loved.
