Heidi Doyle, 58 of Toledo, Iowa passed away on Monday, September 22, 2025, surrounded by her loving family at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown.
Per the wishes of Heidi and her family, private services were held with Chaplain Harlan Nuss officiating. Memorials may be directed to the family.
Heidi Jo Doyle was born on August 25, 1967, in Grinnell, Iowa to Adrian Doyle and Patti (Atchison) Doyle. She grew up in Marshalltown, graduating from Marshalltown High School in 1984. Heidi worked for over 25 years at Kmart. Heidi enjoyed shopping, fishing and going to the casino. Family was very important to her, and she kept busy taking the kids to their sporting events, going to the car lots with her dad and taking road trips. She was especially fond of her German Shepherd Barron.
Heidi is survived by her two sons: Brandon (Morgan) Thorn of Marshalltown and Keaton Thorn of Marshalltown. Her grandchildren Alayna, Zackery, Aleia and Bennett; sister Valerie Alkire of Marshalltown; nephew Skylar State of Seattle, WA and niece Heather State of Marshalltown.
Heidi is preceded in death by her parents Adrian and Patti, her brother Jamie Alkire and her sister Jody State.
