Heidi Flodin Obituary
Heidi Michael (Van Hofwegen) Flodin, age 57, was received into the arms of Jesus on Thursday July 18th, 2024, after a struggle with Leukemia.
Heidi was born on January 11th, 1967, to Bastian Vernon and Susan Ann (Bavle) Van Hofwegen. Heidi graduated high school from Appleton High School in Minnesota, she went on to receive an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technician from University of Minnesota Waseca. Heidi worked various jobs in her career ending with being an Administrative Assistant.
Heidi enjoyed spending time with her family, playing games, going to Twins' games and traveling with her husband Gary.
Heidi was preceded in death by her father Bastian Vernon Van Hofwegen and sister Courtney White.
Heidi is survived by husband Gary Flodin of Burnsville, MN, stepson Tristan Flodin of Minneapolis, MN, mother Susan Ann White of San Antonio, TX, brothers Bastian Christopher (Melissa) Van Hofwegen of Big Lake, MN, Michael (Lisa) Van Hofwegen of Chaska, MN and Daniel (Heather) White of San Antonio, TX and several beloved nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Heidi's life will be held on August 16th from 2pm – 7pm with a service at 3pm at
Chaska Community Center Lodge
1661 Park Ridge Drive, Chaska, MN 55318.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to ICAN (Informed Consent Action Network) or Salvation Army.
