Heidi E. Velasco-Estrada

Heidi E. Velasco Estrada, age 43, of Galena, Ohio passed away suddenly on Thursday, October 30, 2025. On February 21, 1982, she was born in Makati Metro Manila, Philippines, the daughter of Fernando and Tita Velasco who survive her.
On September 7, 2008, she married Erik Estrada at St. Hilary Church. Together they shared 17 wonderful years.
Heidi lived in Chicago, Illinois from 1988 – 2019 before moving to Ohio. She was a proud Berlin gymnastics mom and a super fan of the softball organization, Beverly Bandits – Perry.
Heidi was incredibly and naturally creative. She enjoyed being a bookworm, dancing, traveling, and spending time with family and friends. Heidi's proudest achievement was being an amazing mom, wife, sister, and daughter. Heidi was so special and will never be forgotten. She will be forever loved and deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.
Left to cherish her memory are her parents, Fernando and Tita; her beloved husband, Erik; daughters, Lily, Tiana and Janesa; and her sister, Myra Velasco.
Heidi was preceded in death by her aunt, Estelita Enriquez; grandpa, Alredo Velasco and grandma, Remedios Velasco; maternal grandparents, Faustino Enriquez and Alejandra Enriquez; and mother-in-law, Ana Estrada.
Over the past few days, Heidi's family have felt so supported and are so grateful for everyone's kind words. They are truly touched by how loved their dear Heidi is.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 7, 2025, from 5:30 P.M. – 7:00 P.M. with a Catholic Funeral Service beginning at 7:00 P.M. at Snyder Funeral Homes, DeVore Chapel, 637 North State Route 61, Sunbury, Ohio 43074. After the funeral service concludes there will be additional visitation until 9:00 P.M. Father Daniel Dury officiating.
