She found peace in tending to her garden and delight in watching the hummingbirds flutter among her plants. She adored her beloved pets-her kitty, Fatty, and her pup, Max-who brought endless comfort and companionship. She loved the freedom of riding motorcycles, with the wind rushing through her hair, and the timeless rhythm of rock & roll, especially the music of Bruce Springsteen. She enjoyed quiet moments watching Gunsmoke and drew inspiration from cooking shows with Bobby Flay. Above all, she was one of the kindest and most welcoming souls, a woman whose heart overflowed with love and acceptance for everyone she met. To many, she was affectionately known as "Mom Helen," a name that perfectly captured the warmth, care, and generosity that defined her spirit.
