Mrs. Helen Louise Boyd, of Cleveland, TN passed away Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Signature Healthcare of Cleveland. She was eighty-five.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Poole Funeral Home Chapel Cleveland with Rev. Travis Humbard and Pastor Tim Trivette officiating. Burial will follow in Moore’s Chapel Cemetery with Poole Funeral Home Cleveland directing. A visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm at the funeral home on Saturday, August 10, 2024.
Mrs. Boyd was born May 12, 1939 in Bradley County, Tennessee to the late Alvin L. and Nina Lee Runion Smith. Mrs. Boyd was a lifelong Bradley County resident. Mrs. Boyd was a member of the Unity Church of God in Cleveland.
Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Susan G. Lee, brothers, Jim Smith, Glenn Smith and Buddy Smith and a sister, Brenda Jones, brother-in-law Tommy Ross and sister-in-law Sue Smith, also a son-in-law, Hollis Lee.
Survivors include a her children, Ricky L. Smith (Sharon), Walter F. Wade, Stanley Blankenship, David L. Blankenship (Kathy), James A. Blankenship (Dawn), and Marcus Houston; sisters, Nancy Massengill (Terry), Robin Cline (Doug), Patricia Ross; brothers, Charlie Smith, and Travis Humbard (Linda); several grandchildren, several great grandchildren, also great-great grandchildren;
