She received her education in the public schools of McDuffie County, GA and was a 1973 graduate of Thomson High School in Thomson, GA. After graduation she became a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and was employed by the former Thomson Manor Nursing Home of Thomson, GA for many years. She accepted Christ into her life and was a member of the Greater Saint James African Methodist Episcopal Church of Thomson, GA. Helen was a very kind person with an infectious laugh. She was a loving and dedicated mother to her son. Although we will grieve and miss her dearly, she will be remembered with much love for the light she brought to each of our lives.
Helen was preceded in death by two sisters, Carolyn Cody and Doris Cartledge.
