A Private Celebration of Life will be held by the immediate family.

In loving memory of Helen A. Cauwels, born October 1, 1926, and at rest on August 24, 2025. Helen was a wonderful loving wife of 38 years to the late Henry J. Cauwels and devoted mother to her surviving children, Henry C. (Katherine) Cauwels, Edward F. (Irene) Cauwels, Martin J. (Lynn) Cauwels, and Barbara A. (the late Michael) Bartz.

She was also a loving grandmother to Douglas (Jill) Cauwels, Dennis (Amy) Cauwels, Jason Cauwels, Allison (Matt) Kmieciak, the late Kristen Cauwels, Martin Bartz, and the late Aimee (Thomas) Sanji.

She was blessed with 12 great-grandchildren, Joshua Cauwels, Justin Cauwels, Avery Cauwels, Addison Cauwels, Autumn Cauwels, Koen Cauwels, Quinn Cauwels, Victoria Bartz, Elizabeth Bartz, Ken Sanji, Nicole Sanji and Grant Kmieciak.

Helen worked for United Airlines for 25 years before retiring in 1987. She continued her travels around the world for 20 years with her friends and family. She was an avid gardener, the President of her Homeowners Association for over 20 years and she loved to play board and card games.

We love you Mom, Grandma and GG and thank you for being a part of our lives during your 98 years of life. May God rest your soul.
