Helen R. Chapdelaine, 84, a longtime resident of Londonderry, NH, passed into eternal life to be reunited with her loving husband and sons in the early hours of Monday, September 15, 2025, at Colonial Poplin Nursing Home in Fremont, NH.

Born Helen Ruth Green on February 22, 1941, to Alpheus and Tommie (Hall) Green, she grew up with her 10 siblings in Cottonwood Point, Missouri. At the age of 15, she met the love of her life, Paul, who was stationed at a nearby Air Force base. They married shortly after, on October 19, 1956, and after a few years living in the Midwest, moved to Paul's home state of New Hampshire, where they raised four children.

During this time, Helen worked as a bank teller and also sold real estate before retiring to enjoy her little dogs, traveling to Las Vegas and back home to Missouri, collecting Barbie dolls and all things Elvis, visiting Foxwoods Casino, and feeding the birds in her backyard.

She is survived by her son, Ronald (Cindy) Chapdelaine of Londonderry, NH; her daughter, Kim Lesure of Derry, NH; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Chapdelaine of Londonderry, NH; her sisters, Ruby Steward of Farmington, MO, Madgie (Gene) Winch of Bonne Terre, MO, Brenda (David) Lence of Naples, FL, and Betty Kinney of Jefferson City, MO. She is also survived by her seven grandchildren - Leah, Tyler, Cassie, Jason, Brandi, Amie, and Maverick - and 12 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

She was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, Paul Raymond Chapdelaine, in 2014; her son, Keith Chapdelaine, in 2019; and her son, Kevin Chapdelaine, in 2021.

Following cremation, there will be a graveside service at the NH State Veterans Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Hwy, Boscawen, NH, on October 20 at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Manchester Animal Shelter.
