Jacqueline (Breault)Lefebvre Chapdelaine, 89, passed away at home on August 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of 25 years to Roger Chapedelaine. Jacqueline was born on September 8, 1935 in Springfield, MA, the daughter of the late Raymond Breault and Loretta (Gosselin) Breault. She graduated in 1953 from the former Cathedral High School in Springfield and received her nursing degree in 1973 from Holyoke Community College, where she graduated with honors. Jacqueline went on to work as a registered nurse for Baystate Medical Center for 27 years in Pediatric Intensive Care. In addition to her husband, Jacqueline is survived by three sons, Gary Lefebvre, Neal Lefebvre, and Matthew Lefebvre, two daughters, Jeannine Harris and Suzanne Halkyard, eight grandchildren and extended family.
A calling hour for family and friends will be on Friday August 22, 2025 from 10:00AM-11:00AM at St Patrick's Church, 1900 Allen St, Springfield, MA. A Liturgy of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM. A private burial will follow. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in Jacqueline's memory to Rays of Hope Breast Cancer Fund, c/o Baystate Health Foundation, 280 Chestnut St, Springfield, MA 01199. I am so so sorry, Miss. Jackie was truly a beautiful person inside and out. I had only worked for you guys for a few months. But she really made an impact in my life.
