Helen Green Crosby, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, entered into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on August 30, 2025, at the age of 85. She was born on February 18, 1940, in Pavo, GA, and lived a life marked by faith, generosity, and love. She graduated high school in 1958 and married the love of her life Richard Russell Crosby, Sr. on October 13, 1961. She was an outspoken Christian who never wavered in sharing her faith in Jesus. Her confidence in Him brought peace to her family, who know without a doubt that she is now in heaven. She lived out her faith through prayer, service and encouraging those around her. She loved her family, friends and church deeply and found joy in feeding others, decorating with creativity, and making everyone feel welcome. Throughout her life, she pursued many hobbies-cooking, cake decorating, upholstery, floral arranging, drawing, painting, and sewing-and she used each of these talents to serve those around her. Her kindness, strength, and devotion left a lasting impact on all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her parents Hugh Frank Green Sr., and Beulah Touchton Green, sister Kathy Green Boone, and husband, Richard R. Crosby. She is survived by her children, Richie Crosby of Pavo, GA (wife Judi) and Renee Crosby of Austin, TX; and two brothers, Wayne Green (wife Laurie) and Frank Green (wife Sherry), and by her grandchildren and great grandchildren, who brought her endless joy. Her family will remember her as a woman of strong faith, boundless love, and unshakable generosity. Helen's life will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Bevis Funeral Home. The family will have a visitation starting at 10:00am. The burial will take place at Tallahassee Memory Gardens. Dayne Parker of Bevis Funeral Home (850-385-2193 or www.bevis fh.com) is assisting the Crosby family with their arrangements.
