Born November 9, 1941 in Romney, WV, Ms. Curran was the daughter of the late Samuel Wilson Porter and Bertha Helen (Mayhew) Porter. She was also preceded in death by her husband: Matthew Curran; her sons: Samuel George and Pete George; her sisters: Nina, Violet, Margaret, Lena, Barbara, and Pat; her brothers: Allen, Gary, and Roger; and her canine companion: Raven.
Helen retired from Mail Marketing and was a former employee of Kopper's. She enjoyed playing bingo, coloring on her tablet and completing puzzles.
Helen is survived by her children: Kathy Boyd and husband Steve; Mary Paetow and husband Terry; and Sharon Cain and husband Tracy; her sisters: Linda Forsythe and Debbie Whaley; as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and her feline companion: Kiki.
Per her request, she will be cremated and there will be no services.
