Helen Dandrow Obituary
Helen L. Dandrow passed away May 21, 2023 at the age of 80. One of six children, she was born January 29, 1943 in Cadiz, Ohio to parents, Earl and Virginia (Lukas) Williams.
She was preceded in death in 2013 by her husband, Joel; sisters, Laura Parks, Elizabeth Bittle, and Donna Jefferies; and brothers, Rick and Jeff Lukas.
She was a devoted wife and mother first and foremost. She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and embraced every moment spent with them. She lived a full life and her compassion to help others led her to becoming an EMT for Med Transport. She was known as a clean fanatic.
She will be deeply missed and is survived by daughter, Vicki (Mark) Falasco of Canton; son, Eric Hilgert of Canton; grandchildren, Brittany (Ray) Long, Jordan Phillips, Ciara and Matthew Hilgert; great-grandchildren, Alexys and Brooklyn Sterling and Nikolai and Charlotte Long; loved aunt to Jenn and Jayda Golech, Daniela Casto, Matthew and Kaleel George; and her special friends of 50 plus years, Darlene Hastings and Judy Flickinger.
Visitation will take place Thursday, June 1, 2023 from 5-7 pm, with the service immediately following at 7 pm, Lamiell Funeral Home, 1353 Cleveland Ave., NW, Canton. Interment will take place, Friday, June 2, 2023 at 12:30 pm, Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.
