Helen Fulcher

Helen Chadwick Fulcher, 94, of Gloucester, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2025, at Carteret Health Care.

The family will celebrate Helen’s life at a later date.

Born on September 2, 1930, in Gloucester, NC, Helen was the beloved daughter of the late Oliver and Lilly Chadwick. Throughout her career, she made significant contributions working at the Sea Level Hospital Laboratory from 1965 to 1968, and later as the manager of the Jewish Center Towers, an assisted living facility in Tampa, Florida from 1985 until 1990.

However, it was in her role as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, that Helen found her greatest joy. She dedicated herself to her family with great love and care, taking immense pride in her home and housework and thriving as a nurturing role model for her family whom she loved dearly.

Those remaining to cherish her memory are her daughter, Ellen Kay Fulcher Niblett (James) of Odessa, FL; son, Manley Fulcher Jr. (Ann Love) of Gloucester, NC; grandchildren, Michael Fulcher (Laura), Chris Fulcher (Angie), Jennifer Rhodes (Ty), Manley Fulcher III, Grace Willis (AJ), Jonathan Fulcher and Joseph Bent; and great-grandchildren, Christian, Brooklyn, Caitlyn, Ensley, Syndey, Love, Joslyn, Johnny, Troy, Timmy, Zack, Sophie, Piper, Bohdie and Emory Joseph.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Manley Fulcher Sr. and brothers, Oliver Chadwick Jr., Hubert Chadwick, and Ronald Chadwick.
