Helen G. Lafferre, 97, of Marysville and formerly of Belleview, FL. passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Memorial Gables.
A member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, she was baptized in 1954. She supported herself with secretarial jobs but her main focus was being a Minister of the Good News of God’s Kingdom. She pioneered in Gastonia, NC for several years until her mother’s illness, and ministered again in Florida during her later years. She was a caregiver to her parents, sharing her homes with her father for over 30 years. She loved sewing and was an excellent seamstress.
Born July 11, 1926 in Lewisville, she was the daughter of the late Ivan and Grace (Spence) Lafferre. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Walter and Chauncey.
She is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
