Mrs. Helen Marie Laughlin

Helen Marie Laughlin, 83, passed away peacefully at home in Hytop, Alabama with her daughter, Deborah Jones, and Harold Jones by her side.
Helen attended the Church of God when she was able. Helen loved to tell jokes and was full of laughter and energy. Helen loved to play dominoes and board games. She loved to shell green beans and peas from the harvest of their garden.
Helen is preceded in death of two daughters, Karen Sue Franks and Melinda Kay Baker. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Jones, and son in law, Harold Jones, of Hytop. Al. Helen has twelve siblings, seven sisters, and five brothers. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother to her four grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and three great -great grandchildren.
We would like to thank you gratefully to Hospice of North Alabama, Scottsboro, especially Cheryl, Amber, Beth, and our on-call nurses. We are grateful for Chaplain Randy for his many prayers and visits. A special thanks to our sister in laws Patricia Jones and Barbara Myers, of Texarkana, Texas, for all your love and care while you were here with us during this time. Thank you, brother-in-law Michael Myers for your many calls and prayers.
There will be no service. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree in memory of my mother, Helen Marie Laughlin.
