He is survived by his wife, Brenda Hillis; daughter, Kathryn Ashley Nicole Head (Ronald); son, Robert Glenn Hillis (Misty); grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Hillis, Robert Tyler Hillis, Tylan Carter Head, Adaline Harper Head, and Cody Blackburn.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Jessica Leann Hillis; parents, Cathryn Gibbs, James Edwards; siblings, Pat Sean Bullock, Charlene Izenberg Brown, Melody Brown, Paul Izenberg; daughter, Sherry Lynn Hillis; grandmother, Vernie Mae Childress.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Scottsboro Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Scottsboro Funeral Home with Pastor D.J. Smith officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
