Helen Lehotsky Obituary

NORTH JACKSON - Helen Lehotsky died peacefully Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at Brookdale Assisted Living, surrounded by her family.

Born on January 22, 1940, in Travelers Rest, South Carolina, she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Ruth Ward Pruitt.

Helen graduated from South East High School in 1958 and went on to find fulfillment in her career as a dental assistant for Dr. Touris, where she worked for many years.

She found joy in working in the greenhouse and tending to her garden. Helen also enjoyed baking, delighting in making cakes, and had a talent for sewing.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William H. Lehotsky, whom she married on May 12, 1962. William passed away on October 21, 2024. Helen was also preceded in death by her sister, Edyth (John) Milton.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Connie (Mike) Jones of Canton and Cindy (Tom) Blessing of Canfield; her son, Chuck (Jennifer) Lehotsky of Canfield; granddaughters, Alexis and Cassidy Blessing; as well as her sisters, Inez Jackson of Kent and Lucile Duke of Colorado Springs; and her brother, Al Pruitt of Denver.

Visitation will be held on August 7, 2025, at Higgins-Reardon Funeral Home, Jackson-Milton Chapel located at 439 S Salem-Warren Rd, North Jackson, OH 44451 from 5 to 6 pm followed by a funeral service at 6pm.

The family requests that material tributes take the form of donations to Boardman Baptist Church.
