Helen Michetti Obituary
Helen F. Michetti was born in Kingsland, County Roscommon, Ireland to Ellen and William Knott. The youngest of seven, Helen grew up in rural Ireland and emigrated to New York City as a young woman. She married Joseph Michetti and was a devoted wife and mother, raising four children while also working for much of her life as a hairdresser and volunteering for a range of charities well into later life.
Helen passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph and son John. Helen is survived by her son Brian of Lima, Peru; daughter Elaine of Winters, California; daughter Anita of Studio City, California; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and her sister Claire Leahy of Southampton, England.
The funeral service will take place at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery, 522 Elmira Road, Vacaville CA 95687 on Wednesday May 28th at 1:00 pm.
