Helen Faye Moore

Helen Faye (Williams) Moore, age 67 of Honobia, Oklahoma passed away from this life on February 13, 2025 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born on July 14, 1957 in Talihina, Oklahoma to Rettea (Britton) and Zach Williams. After graduating high school, she obtained her Bachelor's Degree in education and went to work as an elementary school teacher. On December 19, 1976 she married the love of her life, Nick Moore at Nashoba Christian Church and they began their life journey together until his passing in 2020. Helen taught 1st and 2nd grade together for 29 years in the same classroom at Watson Elementary in Watson, Oklahoma. Her family being the most important thing to her, she often enjoyed hunting with her grandson Dawson, and spending time with her grandchildren as well as talking about Goats and Sheep. Helen was always dreaming of ways to fix her house up with her dear friend Billy Bailey. Helen will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Helen is survived by her son, John Moore and wife Cara of Ludlow, OK; daughter Greta Moore of Ludlow, OK; son-in-law Jerod Brown of Red Oak, OK; grandchildren, Jera Brown, Hunter Frachiseur, Josie Brown, Dawson Brown, Dakota Wright (Summer) (children, Isabella, Natalia, Sophia), Taylor Johnson (Jake), ( children, Paislee, Briar), and Matthew Johnson (Amanda); brothers, Eddie Williams (Marie) of Fort Worth, TX, Darrell Williams (Mary) of Ludlow, OK, Sonny Williams (Pam) of Stanley, OK; sisters, Sally Sisk of Clayton, OK, Opal Blake of Smithville, OK, Jo McReynolds (A.B.) of Ludlow, OK, Betty Fuller of Nashoba, OK; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Zach and Rettea Williams; husband John "Nick" Moore Sr.
Pallbearers will be Sonny Williams, Brody Werst, Payton Winship, Thomas Martindale, Jay Hill, Chelsea Patterson.
Honorary Pallbearer Jazmine Patterson.
Visitation will be 4-6 Thursday, February 20, 2025 at McCarn Funeral Service in Talihina, Ok.
Services will be Friday February 21, 2025 at 1 P.M. at Ludlow Cemetery with Sherman Southard officiating. Services have been entrusted to McCarn Funeral Service of Talihina, Oklahoma.
