Elder Helen Payne, age 67, of Goochland, VA., completed her earthly journey on May 24, 2025. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pauline Marie Glover and Hoover Glover and her adoptive parents Helen Elizabeth Bland and James Bland.
She is survived by her husband, Rev. Robert J. Payne; three loving daughters, Chiquita Glover Roberts(Johnnie), Patrice Morgan and Crystal Anderson(Walter); four stepchildren, Cindy Payne, Jennifer Payne, Shelley McKain and Robert Payne Jr.; seven grandchildren; three devoted sisters, Pauline Deloris Shelton(James), Katie Glover Cox and Laurine Wade; two brothers, Arthur Stevenson Glover(Chong) and George Michael Glover; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025, 2:00pm, at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue, Richmond, VA.
Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 1:45pm.
