Helen Ranck of Dauphin, PA passed away peacefully on August 20, 2025 at UPMC West Shore Hospital at the age of 90.

Born on April 3, 1935 in Rockingham, PA, she was the daughter of the late Ann (Gavala) Rosko and Charles Rosko. She was also preceded in death by her sister Mary (Rosko) Reba, her brother Charles Rosko and her beloved husband of 65 years, Phillip C. Ranck.

Helen is survived by her sisters Ann (Rosko) Haley of Orangeville and Margaret (Rosko) Mann of Nanty Glo, along with many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her dear friends Vickie and Bob who held a special place in her life.

Helen dedicated much of her career to Capitol Blue Cross where she retired after 35 years of service. Outside of work she enjoyed bird watching, crafting, Penn State football and traveling with her husband. Together they enjoyed countless trips to Canada, camping at Raystown with friends and spending time on the boat. Their most memorable adventure was a trip to Hawaii to celebrate their anniversary.

Helen was known for her warm heart, her love of family and friends and her joyful spirit. Having recently lost her dear husband Phil, those who loved her find comfort in knowing that the two are together again.

Helen and Phil's kindness will extend well beyond their lifetime, as they arranged for gifts to charitable organizations that were dear to their heart, ensuring that their spirit of generosity will continue to make a difference.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, August 29, 2025 at the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home, 3125 Walnut Street, Harrisburg, PA 17109. Burial will be at Rolling Green Cemetery, Camp Hill, PA.
