Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Travis Sands, Sr., and son, Joseph Travis Sands, Jr.
Helen is survived by her son, Michael Sands; daughter, Angela Gauci; grandchildren, Tena Beck (Richie), Barbara Gauci, Anthony (Tony) Gauci, Jr. (Rachel), Kelly Sands and Erin Sands; great grandchildren, Matt Beck, Samantha Ard, Kyrsten Fehl, Destiny Brooks, T. J. Gauci, Ally Sands; great great grandchildren, Korena and Kaiden.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Faith Chapel Funeral Home South, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 24, 2025, at St. Mary Catholic Church at 10:30 AM. Reverend Father Eugene Pathe will be Celebrant. Interment will be in Pensacola Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be T. J. Gauci, Tony Gauci, Kyrsten Fehl and Robert Hansel.
