Helen Ann Stringer was born December 29, 1959, and passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, July 27, 2025, reaching the age of 65 years. She was the daughter of Margie (Lester) Gibson and the late Charlie Leonard Dean.

She married Jimmie B. Stringer, who survives her; and to this union one child was born.

Along with Jimmie and her mother, Margie Gibson, she is survived by: one son, Isaac Stringer; her significant other, George Roberts; bonus children, Edrie Jones, Carla Ricco, Kimberly Todd, and Valerie Fryman and one sister, Kathy Turpin (Stephen); along with a host of family and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her father, Charlie Dean, she was preceded in death by a stepchild, Teresa Fulcher.

She was a loving mother, companion, and friend who will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 31, 2025, between 11 am – 2 pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 31, 2025, at 2 pm at the Hicks-Vaughn Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Elk Spring Cemetery.
