Helen Ida Stringham

Helen Schuster Stringham, 84, of Cody, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, on October 25, 2024.
Helen was born in Lander, Wyoming, and when she was 18 months old her family moved to the Oregon Basin area near Cody. She graduated from Cody High School, then met and married Wayne Schuster and had two children: Karey Henrichs and Mark Schuster. They moved to the Crandall area until the kids were old enough to go to school. The family then moved to Cody, where Helen resided in and around for the rest of her life.
Helen was an active member on a bowling league for many years with her daughter and granddaughter. During her time in Cody, she was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was an active member at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, where she played Bingo every week. She enjoyed playing cards with her friends, and also watching gameshows.
Helen is survived by her son Mark (Shannon) Schuster, and grandchildren Brandon (Mindy) Schuster, Holly (Juan) Hernandez, Kaela Plumb, Tonya House, LaVesta Stringham, Robert Jones, and many great-grandchildren.
