Helen Ann Taranto

November 27, 1934 - June 18, 2025

Helen was born on November 27, 1934, in Jamestown, Kansas. She lived a long and beautiful life in Sacramento, CA filled with love, laughter, and unwavering devotion to her family. On June 18, 2025, at the age of 90, Helen passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by those who loved her most a reflection of the warmth and closeness she brought into all our lives.

Helen had a heart that welcomed everyone. Her kind and caring nature left an impression on every person lucky enough to know her. Whether it was through a small gesture or a warm smile, Helen had a way of making people feel seen and loved.

She is survived by her three children-Eileen, Tony, and Andy, daughter in law Allison, her grandchildren Ed, Tiffany, and Debbie, and her great-grandchildren Veronica, Amaurii, Makai, and Layla. Each of them carries a part of her spirit and legacy.

Helen was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John Taranto Jr, her mother Valeria Peltier Meadows, father Charles Lefort and step father Wayne Meadows

Rest peacefully, Grandma. We love you always.

Services will be held at Calvary Funeral Center on July 1st at

9am: 7100 Verner Avenue, Citrus Heights, CA, 95621
