Helen Lucille Torp

Helen Lucille (Beatty) Torp, 95, of Louisville, KY went home to Jesus on Tuesday, February 11th, 2025 peacefully at her home.
She was born December 6th, 1929, Elizabethtown, KY. Helen was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, and all of her "babies" were everything to her. She loved her family and being with the ones she loved. She loved her years traveling to the beach (especially Sanibel Island), horse racing, music of all kinds, dancing and her Estee' Lauder cosmetics.
She truly enjoyed her life and living life everyday to the fullest up until the day Jesus called her home. Her family is at peace knowing that she is in Heaven with her Sonny. Helen was preceded in death by her son, Robert Lee (Sonny) Beatty, and her husband, Richard Torp. She is survived by her two daughters, Phyllis Greenwell and Alice Hannah; her son, David Beatty (Barbara); her seven grandchildren, Chad Greenwell (Jessica), Adam Greenwell (Julie), Jeana Montgomery (Ryan), Amanda Albrecht, David Lee Beatty, Philip Hannah (Marta), and Katie Reed (Thomas); along with seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 18th, 2025, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Highlands Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Road, Louisville, Kentucky. A service at Highlands will follow at 1:00 pm. Burial will be private.
