Helen Vanoy Obituary
Mrs. Vanoy was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved being called GG MA, watching her soap operas and talking to her sister, Kat, on the phone.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Vanoy; a son, James Ralph Vanoy; five brothers, Fred Scott, Buddy Scott, Mitchell Scott, Dallas Scott Jr. and Gary Lee Scott; and a sister, Hazel Wall.
Survivors include a daughter, Freda Jenkins and her husband, David; four grandchildren, Aaron Nall, Jason Vanoy and his wife, Cherye, James Vanoy and his wife Ashley, and Amara Callison and her husband, Ryan; three great-grandchildren, Evan Vanoy, Blake Vanoy and Piper Callison; a sister, Katherine Stafford; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
The funeral for Mrs. Vanoy is at noon Thursday, March 26, in the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home in Vine Grove. Burial will be private.
Visitation is from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.
