My sincere condolences to the family. I've been visiting Helen for the past six months. Got to listen to her life story. Not all but most of it. When the virus hit and we were unable to visit in person, we called and chatted. We made it possible for her to view the services by providing a DVD player and a weekly DVD. The nurses helped us set it up and made sure she was able to watch the services weekly. Every time we visited (I wasn't the only one who visited from the church) she was happy to see us and always gracious as we parted. I am sad to see her go but I know she is now free, restored and reunited with those she loves who went ahead of her.
May God's peace and comfort be yours. We are praying for you all. It's tough to lose a loved one at this time. You want to celebrate her life and hear the stories from others as to how Helen touched their lives. We all need to grieve the loss and celebrate the life. I'm sorry that you won't be able to experience that comfort but I pray our Heavenly Father will make up for the loss with an exceptional outpouring of His love and Spirit and an outpouring of online support and remembrances.
If you need anything or would like me to preside at the internment let me know. I'd be happy to do it. You can call the church any time.
