David Patrick "Pat" Cantrell, 64, died in Klamath Falls on July 2, 2025. Funeral services will be held at St. Pius X Catholic Church on Saturday July 19, 2025, beginning with a Recitation of the Holy Rosary at 10:30 am and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Inurnment will follow at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
Pat was born in Orange, CA on May 2, 1961, to Marvin & Kay Cantrell. The family moved from California to Oregon during Pat's childhood, and he graduated from Henley High School. He spent his working years in a career as a heavy equipment operator in the Logging and Construction industries.
Throughout his adult life his jobs landed him in various communities throughout Oregon: Klamath Falls, Merrill, Bend, Medford, and Pacific City. He also enjoyed his time as a resident camp host at many of the Oregon State Parks.
Pat had many interests, such as sailing, snowmobiling, fishing, hunting, canoeing, mechanical tinkering, and especially spending time with his son, Colby. He also enjoyed his involvement in 4-H and FFA.
Pat is survived by his son, Colby; father Marvin Cantrell of Klamath Falls; 3 sisters and 1 brother-in-law Susan Cantrell of Klamath Falls, Teresa Cantrell of Neskowin, Oregon, Ginger Cantrell-Wassmer & Dave Wassmer of Klamath Falls; 2 brothers and 1 sister-in-law Mike & Dana Cantrell of Tillamook, Oregon, Tim Cantrell of Klamath Falls; two nieces; six nephews; and a beloved cat Frankie.
He was preceded in death by his mother Kay Cantrell, and niece Lauren Cantrell.
