Dena Mae Rogers, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great grandmother, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on July 19, 2025. She was born March 8, 1940 in Malin, Oregon, the daughter of Blanche and Roe Fields, and grew up alongside her siblings, Andy (Helen) Fields, Lloyd (Dorothy) Fields, Sandra (Jerry) Haney, Timmy Fields, and Marie (Allan) Taylor, all of whom preceded her in death.
Dena was married to the love of her life, Willard James (Jimmy) Rogers, who passed before her her. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family. Dena was a devoted mother of Terry (Jim) Gordon (deceased), Jeff Rogers, and Russ Rogers, and was the cherished grandmother of Jimmy (Carly) Gordon, Sara (Johnny) Bennett, Cody Rogers, and Nick Rogers. She was blessed with great-grandchildren McKade Allen, Kendry (Tommy) Morene, Ryker Gordon, Blake and Dena Bennett, and great-great grandchild, Cooper Morene.
Dena found joy in the simple, beautiful moments of life. She loved tending to her flowers, baking, and spending quiet hours quilting, reading, and doing puzzle books. Western movies were often on her television, and she found peace in the beauty of camping at Medicine Lake. One of her favorite ways to spend a weekend was going to garage sales with her daughter, searching for treasures while sharing stories and laughter along the way.
Dena's life was one of quiet strength, kindness, and devotion to her family. Her hands created warmth through quilts and comforting those around her. Her gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
