Lori Michelle Coffman lost her long battle with cancer on July 3rd, 2025 with family by her side. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 26, 2025 at O'Hair-Wards Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Eternal Hills Memorial Park.

Lori was born on May 4th, 1972 in King City, CA, to Beverly and Dennis Coffman. Lori was raised in Merrill Oregon by her mother, and grandmother Opal Collins. She attended Merrill Elementary and Lost River Jr/Sr high school and earned her GED a few years later from Rogue Community College. Lori worked for many places in the Rogue Valley, including: Bear Creek and a video rental store. She was an avid reader from the time she was a very young child. She especially loved the works of Stephen King. On February 26th, 2008 she gave birth to her son, Aaron William Richter. She loved Aaron with all her heart. Those who knew Lori knew she had an amazing, bright, and extremely funny personality. She could make anyone laugh to tears. She also loved music and just being goofy. She has spent the last 8 years with her partner, Justin Cook, who was with her consistently until the end.

Lori is survived by her son Aaron and his father John; and significant other, Justin; her mother, Beverly; brother and sister-in-law Derek and Bre Jones along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, many friends, and her lifelong best friend, Bethanie Powell.

She is preceded in death by both sets of grandparents, her father Dennis Coffman; cousin Ken Vega; aunt Mary Vega, and uncle Joe Collins.
