Helen N. Wright was born May 21, 1930, to Rose Evelyn Fields-Jones and Herbert Fields, in Columbus Ohio. Helen had one child, Rose Marie with George Hughes and since both have passed on. She later had 3 children with her husband Roger R. Wright; Karen, Charlotte, Diane…& two stepchildren, Deborah and Eric. Eric has since passed on. Helen's beloved husband Roger passed away on Sept 8, 1991. She had two older brothers, Charles Carroll and Hebert Carroll both deceased. In the year 2021 she has 6 generations of grandchildren. Helen has left behind 3 of her 6 children, a village of gran children and great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.

Helen had a long career as a Nurse… {RN} Registered Nurse, {LPN} License Practical Nurse, and a Private Duty Nurse, and taught nursing thereafter. She was a member of the Red Hatters (Crimison Divas) and went by the name (Red Hot Mama).

Helen was a graduate of College {CCC} Tri C – Cuyahoga Community County, received her BA. She was a Girl Scout leader, and she loved children. Helen had a strong but quiet Faith. She was a great conversationalist, loved people and her family, and got a kick out of little children. She was a sharp dresser, loved going shopping. She would even shop for others. She loved to travel and wasn't afraid to travel by herself. She would get in her car and say I'm driving to New York, Columbus, Texas, wherever she wanted to go she would go. She enjoyed solo travel and wasn't fearful of it.

Her hobbies were knitting and sewing. She loved swimming, and her faithful dog Rossi a miniature Doberman who stayed by her side up until January of this year. To be known by her was to be loved by her.

Prayer +

Loving God, you gave strength and courage to your Son Jesus on is journey to the cross. We put before you today, Helen N. Wright, who has bearded her own cross of suffering as she faced the final stage of her life here on earth. May she, like Jesus, feel the closeness of your presence with them in her transition from this life into eternal life with You. We ask that the Spirit of Jesus be a source of courage and strength to her family and all who walked this journey with her. May she hear your voice, your touch, your consoling presence, and may our faith in your promises sustain us and bring us all one day into your kingdom of justice and peace where you reign with Jesus and the Spirit, one God, forever, and ever. Amen
