Helena Munyon Obituary
Born in Bridgeton to the late Teodore Oniszczuk and Anna Mayr Oniszczuk, she had been the wife of James Munyon, Sr. for 25 years. She had been a Cumberland County resident all of her life, residing for over 40 years in Cedarville. Prior to retirement, she had been employed with the Walmart Vision Center in Millville for over 25 years.
In her free time, she enjoyed playing Bingo, tending to flowers around her home, especially sunflowers which were her favorite. She also enjoyed bird watching with her husband and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. One of her favorite pastimes was to spend time in her sons barn with her family, listening to music and singing karaoke, as she knew just about every song.
She is survived by; her husband and companion of over 50 years, James Munyon, Sr.; her children, James Munyon, Jr., (Lisa) and Melissa Munyon (Angel); grandchildren, James III, Makenzy, Michael, Jr. and Sarah; and great grandchildren, Remi, Raelynn, Rowyn, Jayme and Jaxtyn. She was preceded in death by; her son, Michael Oniszczuk; siblings, Teodore and Nina; and her parents, Teodore and Anna Oniszczuk.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 PM on Tuesday, February 17th, at the PADGETT FUNERAL HOME, 11107 State Highway 77, Upper Deerfield Twp. Friends will be received at the funeral home from 11 AM to 1 PM prior to the services. Interment will take place following the services at St. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery, 77 Hogbin Rd, Millville.
