Recently, she and another team member from that infamous basketball team were inducted into the Ocean Springs Sports Hall of Fame.
After graduating from high school, she married her high school sweetheart, William aka “Percy” Oliver and traveled the world as an Air Force Spouse. Early in her life, she gave her life to the Lord and was a faithful and devoted member of St. James United Methodist Church, where she served as member of the Trustee Board, the choir, the United Women of Faith, and as a Financial Secretary. In her spare time, she loved surrounding herself and spending time with family and friends.
