Helene "Tina" Adler

Helene "Tina" Adler, 91, of Kunkletown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 14, 2025.
She was the loving wife of the late Adolf "Adi" Adler. They enjoyed 60 wonderful years of marriage together before his passing in 2023.
Born on January 20, 1934, in Torschau, Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of the late Christian Mueller and the late Katerina (Hoffman) Mueller.
Tina was a former member of the Salem UCC in Gilbert and former member of the Newton, NJ, Presbyterian Church, singing in the church choirs.
After growing up in Yugoslavia, she later moved to Germany until the end of the war. In 1956, she and her family emigrated to the USA, and later met Adi who she married in 1963. She worked as a waitress for many years at Paris in the Sky and the Renaissance clubs, and after marriage she became a mother and housewife. Tina also performed with the Bayerische Volksbühne theater group for many years bringing laughter to the German community of the NY/NJ area. She worked full-time in the Aerospace industry until her retirement in 1999. Her greatest joy was performing and managing The Adlers Band from 1979 until her ultimate retirement in 2014. She and Adi would continue to do singing appearances with the band at various venues to continue to perform for friends and fans. Tina enjoyed cooking and baking at home. She also adored her grandchildren and family, especially during the holidays. Most of all, she was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Tina will be deeply missed by all her friends and family.
Tina is survived by her son Barry Andrew Adler and his wife Sylvia; her daughter: Alexandra Elizabeth Liebster and her husband Jack; a brother: Siegfried Mueller; five grandchildren and her extended family. In addition to her husband and parents, Tina was predeceased by two brothers: Horst Mueller and Hans Mueller, and a sister, Sieglinde Garcia.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville. Memorial services will follow at 2:00 PM with Rev Wil Hoffman officiating. Interment of the cremated remains will follow the service in Gilbert Cemetery.
