Robert Heil Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
He was the loving husband of Judith "Judy" A. (Kurtz) Heil. They celebrated their 61st wedding anniversary in December of last year.
Born on January 27, 1943, at home in Saylorsburg, he was the son of the late John Heil and the late Sally (Buskirk) Heil.
Robert worked in maintenance at Bear Automotive in Bangor for thirteen years and later was a truck driver for PennDOT for six years. He was the Monroe County Deputy Game Warden for almost 30 years and was a member of the Kunkletown Rod & Gun Club. Robert was a Monroe County native his entire life. He was a true outdoorsman who was an avid hunter and woodcutter. Most of all, he was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend. Robert will be deeply missed by all his friends and family.
In addition to his wife, Judy, he is survived by his son, Robert "Bob" J. Heil Jr. and his companion Brenda Klein of Saylorsburg; his daughter, Michelle Buell and her husband Jerry of Onancock, VA; his grandson, Adam Buell; two sister-in-laws, and his nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, William Heil Sr.
A graveside burial service will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Mt. Eaton Cemetery, Saylorsburg, with Rev. Jason Vanderburg officiating.
The Kresge Funeral Home, 1763 Route 209, Brodheadsville, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
