Jerome H. Heil

Jerome Henry Heil, age 87, of Hartford, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, October 31, 2025.
Jerome was born on July 16, 1938, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to parents Anthony and Josephine (née Yost) Heil. He met the love of his life, Cindy Berg, while in high school, and together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage and raised four children.
Jerome had a deep love for the water and especially cherished time spent "up north" at Pine Lake. He enjoyed camping adventures with his family and took great pride in keeping his car spotlessly washed and waxed to perfection. A lover of animals, particularly dogs, Jerome was known for his gentle and generous spirit. He would do anything for anyone, and above all, he treasured time spent with his family.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Cindy Heil; children, Debbie (Pat) Ratkowski, Patty (Tuan) Trinh, Ken (Peggy) Heil, and Julie (Daniel) Parente; eight grandsons; nine great-grandchildren; and his sister, Rose Giorgi. He is further survived by other cherished relatives and friends.
Jerome was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Josephine Heil, and brother-in-law, Carl Giorgi.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Jerome's name may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
A Memorial Service for Jerome will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Shimon Funeral Home (824 Union St., Hartford, WI 53027). Family will greet relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m. until the start of the service at 7:00 p.m.
