Helene LaQue Obituary
SCHENECTADY - Helene Margaret (Cornell) LaQue, 77, passed away June 22, 2024, at Schenectady Center. She was born in Albany, to the late James and Florence (Collins) Cornell.
Helene graduated from Guilderland Central High School, before going on to work at Travelers Insurance and Rose and Kiernan Insurance, until her retirement, where she then worked at Kohl's.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her in-laws, Donald and Betty LaQue; and siblings, Richard, Donald, James and Dorothy Cornell.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 58 years, Donald LaQue; sons, James and Mark (Susan); daughter-in-law, Hope LaQue; grandchildren, Brennan, Sydney and Meredith LaQue; sisters, Theresa Cornell, Catherine (Larry) Flansburg; sister-in-law, Karen Cornell; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to give a special thanks and appreciation to the staff of the Schenectady Center, especially caregiver Vee.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 27, from 9 a.m. - 10 a.m., with a Mass to follow at 10 a.m., at The Church of St. Clare, 1947 Central Avenue, Albany, N.Y. 12205.

Don, I'm so sorry to hear of Helen's passing. She always made me feel a part of the family. I miss her laugh and her famous spaghetti and
