Helga Interrante, after 85 incredible years, passed away on September 21, 2025, following a long and courageous battle with Leukemia. Honoring her wishes no services will be held. Cremation rites were accorded.
Helga was born on March 25th, 1940, in Berlin, Germany to Dr. Hans-Joachim and Ingeborg Tackmann. Survivors include her husband Warren Stephey, step-son Carl (Karen) Interrante, daughter Andrea (Dave) Mecum, son Ralph (Dorian) Kasuba, granddaughters Ashley (Tom) Legel, Marah Kasuba, Marissa (Theo) Romac, Danielle Kasuba, step-granddaughters Alexis (Alex) Lucille, Krista Interrante, her brother Rainer (Ingrid) Tackmann - Germany, nieces and nephews in Germany, and some very special friends, all of whom know how much they meant to her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Barbara and brother-in-law Dr. Klaus Heyder - Germany.

I had the honor of meeting Helga as I volunteered at the hospital this year. I remember a time when she was having a bad day. I asked her if I could pray with her. It seemed to give her comfort. The following week she said it gave her the strength to keep going that day. I enjoyed all our interactions. What a beautiful lady. My condolences to the entire family.
