Helmut Bossert Obituary
Helmut Theo Bossert, 85, of Lincoln, Neb., passed away October 23, 2025. He was born December 11, 1939, in Mannheim, Germany, to Jakob and Elisabeth (Streibinger) Bossert.
Helmut was a Veteran of the United States Army, a member of Christ Lincoln Church, Hillcrest Country Club, and Prairie Life. He worked as primary maintenance for McDonald's.
He is survived by his wife, Margalean; daughter, Michelle Furby; grandchildren, John (Jordyn) McCave III and Mason Furby; great-granddaughter, Lennon McCave; and brother, Egon (Lois) Reisel. He was preceded in death by his parents; and son-in-law, Timothy Furby.
A Celebration of Life will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Christ Lincoln Church, 4325 Sumner Street, Lincoln, Neb.
