Henderson Aaron Dunsmore 1956 - 2025
Henderson Aaron Dunsmore age 68 of Tazewell, known as Aaron to his friends and family, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2025, in his hometown of New Tazewell, where he was born on April 26, 1956. Aaron's life was a testament to the power of kindness, love, and passion, virtues that he exhibited every day and that have left an indelible mark on everyone he met.
Aaron was a devoted family man, preceded in death by his father Dewey Dunsmore and mother-in-law Joyce Cheek and his grandchildren that never made it this side of earth. His memory will be cherished and kept alive by his beloved mother Agnes Dunsmore and his dear wife of 41 years, Cindy Dunsmore. His legacy of love continues through his son Logan Dunsmore and wife Suzannah, his daughters Joy Dunsmore, Sarah Wade and husband Brandon, Savannah Dunsmore, and Mandi Dunsmore. His grandchildren Maggie, Ashlie, Sami Campbell, and Jensen Rains will miss their grandfather's warm presence and endless support. Aaron's sister, Shelia Carver, and her husband Fred, along with his father-in-law George Cheek, brother-in-law and sister-in-law Doug and Tammy Cheek, and his treasured friend and racetrack buddy Raiden Wilson, will hold his memory dear. His nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends will remember Aaron's kind-hearted nature for years to come. The family wants to thank Suncrest, Dr Shields, Samantha Upton and Special nurse Jody Turner.
Professionally, Aaron dedicated his career to England Manufacturing, where he worked as an electrician until his retirement in 2024. His love of racing earned him the position of Tech Man at both Godspeed Raceway and Dumplin Valley Raceway. His involvement in these communities was not only a reflection of his passion for the sport but also a testament to his willingness to lend a hand and share his knowledge with others.
Aaron was saved at an early age and a member of the MCM Baptist Church. His faith was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him in his actions and providing comfort to those around him.
Aaron's life was a beautiful example of how to love and be loved in return. He will be profoundly missed, but the memories he created with his family, friends, and community will continue to inspire and comfort those he left behind.
As we say goodbye to Henderson Aaron Dunsmore, we celebrate a life well-lived, full of moments that will be treasured forever. Aaron's journey on earth may have come to an end, but the love he shared will continue to ripple through the lives of those he touched. May he rest in peace, and may his spirit continue to guide us in the days to come.
