Henretta Bealim, age 85, passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Thursday June 19, 2025. She was born November 5,1939 in Croweburg, Kansas to parents, Henry and Viola Mayweather. Henretta is preceded in death by her parents, brothers Charles and Jackie Mayweather, and her sister Dolly Fogg. Henretta spent her childhood in St. Louis and then moved to Zion, IL. Later in life she moved to Cleveland, TN to be close to her son. Henretta was an active member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She made many friends at church, including Pastor Edward Robinson.Henretta loved her family unconditionally. Her family was an important part of her life.Henretta leaves behind one sister, Louise Austin, her son and daughter in law, Kenneth and Janet Mayweather, her grandchildren, Kendra Mayweather, Jessica Green(Devin McCulley),Austin Johnson ,Alyssa Mayweather, and Will Mayweather. her great grandchildren, Harper Gudac, and Harrison McCulley. She also has several beloved nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life services will be held Wednesday, June 25, 2025 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with pastor Rev. Edward S. Robinson Sr. officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service at the church from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. Interment will follow the service at Fort Hill Cemetery in Cleveland, TN.
