Jeffrey Lynn Freeman, age 61, of Old Fort, Tennessee, passed away on August 23, 2025. He was born on January 15, 1964, in Cleveland, Tennessee. Jeff dedicated over 40 years of his life to the clothing manufacturing industry, working with Charleston Hosiery/Renfro.
Jeff was an avid sports fan, particularly devoted to the Tennessee Vols, Atlanta Braves, and Tennessee Titans. His love for sports brought him joy and camaraderie with family and friends. He cherished many memorable moments spent watching games and celebrating victories.
Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Homer Freeman, and his beloved wife of 32 years, Michaele Freeman. Following her passing, he survived only four months before continuing his journey alongside her once more.
Jeff is survived by his son, Brandon Freeman and daughter-in-law, Jill Banks; step-daughter, Erica Bales; his loving mother, Nancy (Terry) Massengill; sister, Sheila (Joe) Evans; nephew, Jonathan Howard; grandchildren, Kenlee , Kyllie, and Cameron Freeman; and great-grandchildren, Klay and Charlie. He also loved and cared deeply for his cousin, Walter "Penny" Wade. He will be missed by many other family members and friends.
In accordance with his wishes, Jeff will not have a funeral service. We invite you to privately celebrate his memory in your own way.
